Sylviane Cannio
Master Certified Coach ICF since 2009, Master Practitioner EMCC and accredited supervisor ESIA/EMCC, Sylviane Cannio is one of the pioneers of coaching in Belgium and immediately became part of the ICF at its creation in 2002. She supports senior executives in the field of strategy and alignment as well as individuals in their personal and professional development. She is a specialist in transition processes. As an ontological coach, she developed the ability to dig into emotions without falling into psychotherapy and created her own models for managing emotions, life transitions and grief. And she is passionate about the challenge that many people face, which is learning to love themselves unconditionally, which is the theme of her last book published this Summer in French on Amazon – Le jour où je me suis enfin aimée. As a coach mentor and supervisor, she has been supporting coaches for years, especially through supervision of team coaches and helping PCC coaches getting their MCC credential. She was President of ICF Belgium in 2004-2006 and organizer of the 2006 European Coaching Conference in Brussels. She was elected as a member of the ICF Global Board of Directors (2008-2010) and became Vice President of ICF Global in 2010. She was one of the founders of the Regional Advisory Council for Europe, Middle East and Africa, of which she was a member from 2014 to 2016. Her books have been translated into several languages. "Coaching Excellence” written with Viviane Launer encompasses 14 coaching cases with their tools and is in its third edition. It exists in English, French, Spanish and Russian. And she co-wrote three other books, in French or in English.
